Sep 27, 2018 I am using Firefox ESR 52.1.0 on a MacBook. I was on Mac OS High Sierra and Silverlight was working on Safari until I installed Safari 12. At that point Firefox ESR 52.1.0 still ran Silverlight. I along with other users of a company Silverlight application have updated to Mac OS Mojave. The file size of the latest downloadable installation package is 14.4 MB. Microsoft Silverlight for Mac relates to Internet & Network Tools. The actual developer of this free Mac application is Microsoft. Our built-in antivirus scanned this Mac download and rated it as 100% safe. Silverlight Not Working On My Mac I am able to download Silverlight onto my Mac, but I cannot get it to work. It says it downloads successfully, but when I got to watch say Netflix or use it for one of my online lectures it says that I haven't downloaded it. I am using Firefox ESR 52.1.0 on a MacBook. Install Silverlight On Your Mac

If you click on the “View Webcast” link on one of our webcast pages, the image above is what you’ll see if Silverlight is not installed on your computer. To download the software, you can click the button that displays “Click Now to Install” or you can visit this link: http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/

Click the Download Now button.

Now, click the Save File button.

You’ll notice that the Silverlight.dmg file can be found in your Downloads folder once it finishes downloading. Double-click on the Silverlight.dmg file.

Install Silverlight On Mac Firefox

The following window will appear with the Silverlight.pkg. Double-click on the Silverlight.pkg file.

Next, click the Continue button from the dialog window that appears. This will advance you to the next window.

On the next screen, read the License Agreement and click Continue.

Click the Agree button.

Now, click the Install button to install the plug-in.

The following should now appear on your screen.

Once the software is installed, “The Installation Was Successful” dialog will appear. Now you can click on the Close button because the software is now installed.
